How To Held an Islam Meaningfully
Majalahnabawi.com – For a long time, we have known that Islam taught many people to be piety and always spread kindness to the world around them. Islam as renowned as friendly religion gives us an image that we must create greatness and kindness to other people if we will be called “the real Islam.”
One thing that I will mention here is that despite we know the big image of Islam, have we know to practice Islamic teaching mindfully, and has meaningful Islam shaped our environment? We have to discuss this amazing theme here.
Held or practicing Islamic teaching meaningfully means we have to know and be aware of Islamic values around us, thus we can apply it as meaningfully as possible.
There is one Hadith that I have to mention here
Abu Hurairah Ra, said: Rasulullah Saw said: that one of the greatness of Muslims is to leave something that is unmeaningful for him. (HR Tirmidhi)
Avoiding gossip among friends, getting rid of the partner in crime in some cases, and talking aimlessly is part of wasting the precious time that we have. Instead, we must fulfill our days by doing some meaningful activities that have an impact on ourselves and the rest of the world.
Therefore, I think we must know what becoming great muslims looks like. In my opinion, being a great muslim is how we do the best thing in living under an Islamic corridor, and we do that mindfully.
Certainly, we heard often word Mindfulness. I think this so matches if we incorporate it with Islamic values: Islamic Mindfulness.
Mindfulness of Islam
As quoted by National Geographic magazine (Everyday Mindfulness), explained over there that mindfulness means our awareness and awakeness about what happened around us without judging or complaining. (National Geographic Magazine, 2022, 36)
Also, as reported here, Islamic mindfulness means,
“Mindfulness in Islam (muraqabah) is the state of being aware of oneself concerning Allah. It is the opposite of heedlessness, negligence, and forgetfulness (challah).”
Additionally, the site attached Imam Ghazali’s opinion :

For the above attachment that I inserted we know that every one of us has to muraqabah value, felt our deeds are seemed by Allah SWT and his angels, so we can be aware and careful to everything that we will do.
So, just we are happy for our gift from Allah SWT such as the ability to live this life healthily, our enjoyment of breathing the air deeply without any pain, we must be thankful to Him for everything He has given and embody this gratefulness into any form or kindness that we can do them and spread them as wide as possible.
